Do you know the Gospel? Do you really? Are you sure?
What is the Gospel? Is it where you meet or how you worship?
Is the gospel how you dress or how you look?
Is the gospel about the apostles? Is it about ministers?
Is the gospel about a mere man named Jesus who somehow managed to live a perfect life and died on a cross? Is Christ our mere "brother in the faith", or is He more than that?
OR, is the gospel about Jesus Christ- Son of God, God in flesh, God with us, Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, The Word, Our Mighty Savior (Matt 1:23, Isaiah 9:6, 2 Peter 1:1, John 1:1,14)- dying as a criminal on a cross, taking on our curse, and drinking the cup of God's wrath in our place therefore defeating death so that we too may have eternal life instead of eternal damnation?
What is the Gospel?
John 14:6-7 - Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
